From its founding, Brescia has been noted for the quality of its 教师教育 programs. Brescia University 教育学院 (SOE) candidates are challenged to become professional educators committed to ethics, 宣传, 服务, 终身学习. All 教育学院 programs are approved by Kentucky’s Education Professional Standards Board.

Endorsement for Teachers of 英语 as a Second Language P–12 (ESL)
This post-baccalaureate endorsement may be earned in conjunction with a bachelor’s degree in education, and thus – as it’s obtained in conjunction with another certification in education – prepares both pre-服务 and more experienced teachers to teach in a more global environment that includes 英语-language learners. This endorsement also expands potential job opportunities.

Bachelors of Science Degree with a Major and with Kentucky Teacher Certification in Special Education
The Special Education Program at Brescia University prepares individuals to work as teachers in a variety of settings with children and young adults who have diverse and exceptional learning needs. Brescia’s special education offerings include courses leading to P–12 certification and grades 8–12 endorsement in Learning and Behavior Disorders; these prepare teachers to work with children with specific learning disabilities, 轻度精神残疾, 情绪或行为障碍, 以及其他残疾. Certification in Special Education can only be obtained through completion of a major in Elementary, 中学, 中等教育(双认证).Students seeking secondary certification through a Brescia program or 学生 who have already completed a secondary certification program elsewhere may obtain an endorsement in Learning and Behavior Disorders (grades 8–12).
